Haze becomes an annual event in Malaysia. To keep my family healthy, I decided to buy something to keep the air in my house clean (at least, so that we don’t feel not so hazy in the house). Coincidence, my company was having 50% off on Medklinn air sterilizers for the employees. So, I bought one.
MedKlinn Asens+ 40 is unbelievable small. It is so convenience that I can move up and down my house so that I can use it when I need it. It just take so little space. It is even smaller than a tissue box.
I first put this little device in my bedroom for a few hours. When I first turn on, I heard a little hissing sound coming out from the unit. You won’t notice until you go very near to it.
After a few hours of turning on the device in the room and when I entered the room, the smell of the air in the room was a bit different from the usual one. You can feel that it was the air of after rain and storms. So I think the device is working. And there was no more odor in the room.
From the user manual, the power consumption of the device is less than 5.5 watt. From my Wattmeter measurement, it showed 5.7 watt. I think it is still ok as the Wattmeter is not 100% accurate. I plan to turn it on for 24 hours as it takes less power than my 24-hour-on WiFi router.
