Nintendo WiiWare in US Today: Wii Software in Europe May 20

Many Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 gamers cannot wait to get their next fix of improved graphics gaming, but there are still those that love the classic games and this is even more so on the Nintendo Wii. Today the United States gets to use WiiWare, this new service lets Wii owners download classic games and although there are only six games available today, each Monday will see another added. If you live in Europe then you will have to wait another eight days, the UK and the rest of Europe get Wii Software (similar name) on May 20th.
The service may not be as good as Xbox Live, but this is still something that Nintendo Wii gamers will love and WiiWare will also let you leave a review score after playing the game, this will then be used to help recommend games to other people. It’s a shame they do not let you leave a full review and also let other gamers see these reviews, but that may be added at a later date. Starting today in the U.S., you will be able to download V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack (700 Wii Points), Defend your Castle (500), Pop (700), LostWinds (1000), TV Show King (1000), Square Enix (1500) and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for 1,500 Wii Points.
Japan has had Nintendo’s WiiWare since March 25, 2008 and it’s already proving a success over there. What game will you download?
