UMBRO unveils the DYNAMIS

FA Cup final kicks off with the most high tech football ever

This year's FA Cup competition has thrown up more than its fair share of crazy results and amazing matches (Havant & Waterlooville FC winning a replay against Swansea and then taking the lead against Liverpool at Anfield twice, anyone?), but you'd have to be nuts to bet against Redknapp's Pompey deservedly taking the European spot on May 17.

But to keep things as accurate and assured as possible, the big game will see the debut of UMBRO's FA Cup DYNAMIS ball, apparently the most technically advanced football ever produced.

We're not talking incorporated GPS so it always finds the back of the net, more that its 20-panel configuration is faster than the traditional 32-panel ball and the Teijin micro fibre material delivers increased power and accuracy - perfect for Utaka to slot a couple of long-distance corkers. Unbiased.

The DYNAMIS has been restricted to 100 limited edition balls for a select few to enjoy as well as for the next FA Cup, when Pompey will doubtless return to defend their title. Big up the Blue Army!

Well spotted David, you're absolutely right and i've made the change. Meant Swansea! Obviously just over-excited by Pompey's imminent victory this Saturday...

Not sure that H&W did force Liverpool into a replay. Seem to remember them winning 5-2
